Drive over the Himalayas by way of the incredible Arniko Highway that connects Kathmandu with Lhasa. Enjoy fabulous mountain scenery enroute, visit mystical Buddhist monasteries of Tashilungpo at Shigatse, the Kumbum Stupa at Gyantse, and drive past the beautiful Turquoise lake. In Lhasa visit the famous Potala and Norbulinkha palaces, the great Drepung Monastery and walk through the bustling Barkor Bazaar before flying back to Kathmandu (or onward to China). Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 Arrival to Kathmandu
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet our representative at the airport and transfer to hotel. Short Briefing of your Tour. Check in to the Hotel. Rest for free Afternoon. Evening Nepali Dinner with cultural programs. O/n at Hotel.
Day 02 Kathmandu Sightseeing - Nagarkot
After Breakfast sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath temple the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of Bagmati River. Cremation services take place on the banks of Bagmati River. Then proceed to the tour of The biggest of the Buddhist Stupa architecture. Erected in the 7th century and is believed to be a "must visit" pilgrimage site for Buddhist in their lifetime. Boudhanath area is densely inhabited by Tibetan refugees and carries the name as Little Tibet. Then after Sightseeing Tour of Bhaktapur City is just a 14 kms east of Kathmandu. Bhaktapur means the city of devotees and is a center of potter and intriguing masks. The major sight seeing places are, Durbar Square, of 55 windows, Nyatapola, Bhairavnath Temple, Dattatreya Temple etc. Evening drive to Nagarkot. Sun Set View will be viewed from the Hotel. O/n at Hotel Country Villa a nice Resort.
Day 03 Nagarkot - Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
Early morning beautiful Sunrise View including Mt. Everest View can be seen from the Hote. After Breakfast sightseeing Tour of Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square where you will visit Kumari -the Living Goddess of Nepal, Legendary Kasthamandap Temple, Hanuman Dhoka Palace and many other shrines. You will proceed to Tour of Patan City to have a look and study many beautiful and interesting arts and architecture and historic and cultural phenomena. O/n at Hotel.
Day 04 Kathmandu (1300m) - Zhangmu (2500m) Nyalam(3700m) :123km|156km
Early morning scenic drive to Kodari (Nepal-Tibet Boarder) through the beautiful Nepalese countryside and after necessary custom formalities at Nepalese immigration, an hour adventures uphill drive by truck (normally) 2 hour walk uphill (incase of landslide) to Chinese immigration; check- in to Hotel or continue drive to Nylam. Over night at Hotel.
Day 05 Zhangmu \ Nyalam - Tingri (4300m)\Lhatse(4350m): 225Km\244Km
Day drive uphill to the highest plateau of the world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape offering sheer feeling of standing on the roof of the world crossing over Lalungla (5050M) from where weather permitting, breathtaking panaroma of beautiful Himalayan ranges including Mt. Cho Oyu (8201M) & Mt. Xishapagma (8012M) but dwarfed by the vastness of the Tibetan plateau. From Tingri, one can enjoy the magnificence of Mt. Everest (8848M). Over night at Hotel.
Day 06 Tingri \ Lhatse - Shigatse (3900m): 244Km
Continue scenic drive crossing over Gyatchu La (5220m), the Highest passes en-route to Lhasa via Lhatse from where a road to the Mt. Kailash bifurcates to the west. Over night at Hotel.
Day 07 Shigatse - Gyantse (3950m):90Km
Morning sightseeing to the Panchen Lama's Tashilhumpu Monastery. Drive to Gyantse and Visit to the Kumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monastry. Over night at hotel.
Day 08 Gyantse - Lhasa (3650m):261Km
Full day picturesque drive crossing over karola (5010M), Kambala (4794M), colourful Yamdrok Lake and the Tibetan lifeline river Brahma Putra (Yarlung Tsangpo). Over night at Hotel.
Day 09-10 Lhasa
Two full days sightseeing tour to Lhasa including Jokhang Temple, Bazar, Potala Palace Drepung & Sera Monasteries. Over night at hotel.
Day 11 Fly Back to Kathmandu or Unward your Journey to China
Experience the wondrous sight of the Himalayas for one last time as we fly back to Katmandu! or connect your unward journey to China or other country.

Important Note:
1) Chinese Embassy in Nepal open Monday, Wednesday and Friday (10-11am, 3-5pm), apply in the morning and pick up in the afternoon
2) For Tibet Group Visa, we need to make Tibet permit in advance (with the 6months valid passport copy) in TTB, we will get Tibet group visa with original Passport,
Tibet visa invitation letter and some other official documents and clients need to fill up the form with passport photo on it.
3) Air China has different flight schedule between KTM to LHASA in different months
4) Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary but as this is adventure travel in a remote mountain region we cannot guarantee it!
