Drive to Besishahar to trailhead from Pokhara or Katmandu, by bus 6-7 hr. start the trek according to itinerary, after the trek drive back to Pokhara. Village teahouse lodges managed by villagers at Ghalegaun, for rest of the trek up to Pokhara need to porters for all gear and food. Ghalegaun is Village is very much papular for Gurung people, One of the member of most of the family use to be work either Gorkha Army (British Gorkha) or Indian Gorkha Army. Ghalegaun is promoting of cultural tourism concept development, real mil-hills traditional life style observation, splendid mountain views of Annapurna II, Manaslu, Fish Tail, Lamjung Himal and more, inhabited by Ghale tribal cast, colorful photographic opportunities, unforgettable short trip. Ghalegaun Trekking Program
Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet our representative at the airport and transfer to hotel. Short Briefing of your Tour. Check in to the Hotel. Rest for free Afternoon. O/n at Hotel.
Day 02 Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
After Breakfast sightseeing Tour of Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square where you will visit Kumari -the Living Goddess of Nepal, Legendary Kasthamandap Temple, Hanuman Dhoka Palace and many other shrines. You will preoceed to Tour of Patan City to have a look and study many beautiful and interesting arts and architecture and historic and cultural phenomena. In the evening, typical Nepali dinner with folk dance performances. O/n at Hotel.
Day 03 Kathmandu - Besishahar - Khudi (790m)
After Breakfast we drive to Khudi through Prithivi Highway and facing the view of Marsyangdi River. (approx 6 hours drive).Then camp will be set with the beautiful view of River & greenery for the night. Lunch will be on the way.
Day 04 Khudi - Ghalegaun
After Breakfast made by our cook with the fresh air of Marsyangdi River. Trek will start. Today is the day the Trek has start for the main attraction place called Ghalegaun. Ghalegaun is the name by the caste Gurung people. You will welcomed by the mother's group of Ghalegaun.They will show you some local singing & dancing program. o/n camping at Ghalegaun.
Day 05 Ghalegaun
Full day take exploration with whole Ghalegaun. O/n at camp.
Day 06 Ghalegaun - Baglungpani (1595)
After Breakfast Trek has starts for the next Gurung village called Baglungpani, where one can enjoy fully with the local people with view of Baglungpani. Tented camp will be made here.
Day 07 Baglungpani - Laxmi Bazar
Trek starts after Breakfast made by our crew to Laxmi Bazar after walking 5 hrs.o/n Tented camp.
Day 08 Laxmi Bazar - Pokhara
Trek to Begnas lake the drive to Pokhara. O/n Hotel.
